Torkatrine Farm is situated on the periphery of the pretty town of Dalbeattie. Torkatrine Farm (former dairy farm) is an exceptional stock rearing and arable farm, benefitting from an exceptional house and two traditional farm cottages. The steading is made up of modern and traditional farm buildings and about 350 acres of agricultural land. The agricultural land is highly productive and is capable of growing a range of cereal and other forage crops. The house at Torkatrine has been a wonderful family home for many years, which has been sympathetically modernised and maintained to a really high standard. The house benefits from a spectacular elevated site with far reaching views across the surrounding countryside towards the hills of the Lake District. The House offers spacious, beautifully presented family accommodation over two floors.

On the approach to the house, an extremely well-maintained traditional courtyard steading provides workshop space and a fantastic outdoor dining area has also been created from one of these buildings. In addition, there are three grazing paddocks, amenity woodland and a pretty wildlife pond. Adjacent to the garden is a well-maintained tennis court.

Torkatrine was in the past a dairy farm and is now a highly productive livestock / arable unit. The land is classified as mainly yield class four of the Macaulay Land Capability Scale as produced by the James Hutton Institute.
